SOCIAL MEDIA USAGE IN POLITICS

Barack Obama’s period is the good example of social media usage in politics. His team spread their message across the web using Twitter and other social channels. The result came in the favor of Obama.
There is another example of Scott Brown who won the Senator Election as he used Facebook, Twitter & other social media platform. The main thing in his publicity was to show a video of him, so their party used the social media very effectively. The conclusion of using social media platform was that this compaign hitted a half million votes in his favor.
So, social media is being used very efficiently in politics but the thing which should keep in mind is that there should be a productive use of it.
